Well DUH.

The dizziness?

It's not my sinuses, at least not anymore, and probably not by themselves even when they WERE still screwy.

It's SSRI discontinuation syndrome! That is my new best guess, anyway.

I titrated off very gently, but not gently enough at the end I guess, cuz gee, the vertigo and weakness and occasional tinglies and twitchies started last Tuesday night, 18 hours after my final little dose of the drug. And I have been bouncing between trouble sleeping and LONG sleeps, too. (I'm due for a long sleep tonight, and looking forward to it.)

I wonder if my body can sense choline rich foods enough that that was why wanted cauliflower so much. And ohh, tomorrow I will eat eggs eggs eggs. And if I can find a drugstore that is open, I'll get B-complex, which I should be taking anyway!

Here's more on SSRI discontinuation syndrome. Maaaan, given the half-life of the drug I was taking, I thought my step down schedule was FINE. And it was, until the end. Silly brain chemistry!

Pass the steak, liver, peanuts, spinach, cauliflower, and wheat germ, dammit.

Many thanks to [livejournal.com profile] ewin, who says I thought of it, but well, she DEFINITELY inspired it! Yay!

I will take credit for being a muse, because, hey, that's a pretty cool thing to be. ;)

I want business cards. "Talk to me and figure out the answer!"

I stopped SSRIs pretty abruptly about a year ago. (My prescription ran out... i was thinking of stopping anyway... yeah, it was dumb). But, while it was a little scary, i kinda enjoyed the weird brain buzz sensation that i got any time i moved my head too quickly...

Anyway, hope you feel better soon. And happy new year!

I got the headaches and dizziness when I went off Zoloft years ago. It wasn't fun, but as far as I can remember, it didn't last very long.

I had a it a bit when they shoved me from Prozac to Lexapro. Totally was irked by it, and hated the "brain pops" sort of feeling.

Downing about a 1/4 of a xanax seemed to help a little bit each morning/afternoon.
